YWA Move Day 5 – Deepen

The YWA Move day 5 practice from Yoga With Adriene was indeed a gentle deepening. I love that the process of deepening with the breath and presence is a three dimensional opening in the body mind. I love that this can be expressed and practiced simply, scientifically, or esoterically. I love that the experience of this opening is what is of primary importance - because the experience is open to everyone, no matter how they express what's happening. I entered back into the...

YWA Move Day 3 – Stretch

YWA Move Day 3 practice from Yoga With Adriene stretched me, indeed. It was a gentle stretch, pleasurable. I tapped into some asana I do little less often, and the gentle visit there felt like a greeting. I had a rough night last night with a three-year-old and dog, and today I had been feeling sluggish and uninspired to work. Yoga With Adriene: Move in 2022

Hello, hello. Happy New Year.  Welcome to 2022. 2021 was, again, a time of extraordinary pressure for so many. I made a significant move in 2021, and after settling, I feel grateful for my self, the love I have for others, and the sense of renewal I have within. Another great thing about online yoga learning is that you can find someone...

Holding myself

Lockdown in Melbourne resumes tonight.  One week of school holidays extended.  Possible resumption of remote learning after that. I am currently doing a course for the business well as parenting, housework, managing this business and looking after the family and myself.  So, yes, this is a lot.  Many people are enduring much harder circumstances.  I have also had harder times and gotten through them - extreme chronic pain and horrible symptoms, for years. So, as a part of writing about my...

Settling inner restlessness

Hi all, It has been quite a while since I got bloggy. I am thinking of everyone, as our interconnection is magnified at the moment. There has been a huge surge of interest in yoga gear as people are at home, wanting to look after their bodies, minds and souls. And perhaps their kids', also. Thank you for the interest; how heartening. However, I suggest getting in orders if you are after something, as stock is seriously depleting for us, and our suppliers....
